The Old Lamb Hotel is situated west of Reading town centre, in a small village named Theale.
THE OLD LAMB, (formerly coaching inn), dates back to 1487 and is one of the oldest buildings in Theale. Constructed of old brick beneath a thatched roof, the Breakfast room in the main Cottage takes you back in time with its beamed walls and ceilings. It boasts a large fireplace bearing the Royal Coat of Arms of Henry VII (1485-1589) which provides comfort and warmth and the informality which our guests appreciate.
Nineteen rooms are located in the Cottage annexe which is immediately adjacent to the main Hotel. They are all fully en suite with digital television,
direct dial telephone and tea and coffee making facilities.
Ample parking is available within the grounds.
